The fraudulent scheme revolved around an online job posting for third-party delivery drivers, allegedly for Amazon. What seemed like a promising opportunity turned into financial loss and frustration when applicants arrived for scheduled interviews, only to discover that the business they had interacted with no longer existed.

This incident serves as a reminder that no one should ever have to pay money to find a job. Legitimate employers do not require application fees, security deposits, or any kind of upfront payment for a job offer.
